asked the Secretary of State for Scotland the total number of houses built in Glasgow since the War by any form of State aid; the total now building; the total for which plans are prepared, but not yet started; and the same figures for houses without State aid?

I am informed that at 30th November last the total number of houses built in Glasgow since the War by any form of State aid is 17,899, that the total number now building is 8,216 and that the total number approved but not yet commenced is 1,898. The respective figures for non-aided houses are, according to information supplied by the Town Clerk, 2,161, 125 and nil.
