HC Deb 10 December 1928 vol 223 c1738W
Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Minister of Pensions the number of ex-service men who are in receipt of temporary disability pensions; and whether it is his intention to make such awards permanent in cases where there is no hope of the pensioner being cured?

Lieut.-Colonel STANLEY

The number of conditional pensions in issue to men in respect of disabilities sustained in Great War service is approximately 125,000. It is my right hon. Friend's intention to make final awards in these cases as soon as this can fairly be done.
