§ Mr. BETTERTONThe estimated numbers of insured persons aged 16 to 64, inclusive, in Great Britain classified as belonging to the "drink industry" at July, 1928, were 78,200 men, 20,980 women, and 6,170 juveniles. Of these numbers, 4,544 men, 1,953 women, and 239 juveniles were recorded as unemployed at 22nd October, 1928.
