HC Deb 03 December 1928 vol 223 cc854-5W
Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs if the £10,000,000 scheme for the settlement of British migrants to Canada within the next 10 years, formulated some weeks ago by Lord Lovat and submitted by him to the Canadian Minister of Immigration, has been accepted by the Canadian Government; and, if not, can he give any reason for the delay?

Mr. AMERY

The answer to my hon. Friend's question is in the negative, but alternative suggestions are under discussion.
