Mr. GUINNESSDuring April one fresh infected area was declared on account of an outbreak of foot-and mouth disease at Selston (Notts), and three outbreaks were confirmed in areas in which restrictions were in operation at the end of March on account of previous outbreaks. § Colonel ASHLEYI have made a 50 per cent. grant towards an expenditure of about £95,000 incurred by the local authorities in forming two sections of this road. The third section would probably cost about £100,000, and is not urgently 1345W required from the point of view of traffic needs.
