GILMOURThe total amount of assessments raised by local authorities in Scotland in the years ended the 15th May, 1911, and the 15th May, 1926, exclusive of water assessment, was £6,811,167 and £18,601,938, respectively. The water assessment raised was £642,408 in 1910–11 and £1,269,184 in 1925–26.
