HC Deb 17 April 1928 vol 216 c24W
Mr. DAY

asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to vehicles stopping exactly opposite each other in narrow streets; and will he consider introducing Regulations which will prohibit vehicles stopping in this position in the Metropolitan area?

Colonel ASHLEY

I am of opinion that the matter is not one that could suitably be dealt with by Regulations. Where necessary, proceedings can be taken for obstruction.
