HC Deb 17 April 1928 vol 216 c25W
Sir E. CRAIG

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether any and, if so, what disciplinary action has been taken with regard to Rear-Admiral Collard in connection with the incident in His Majesty's Ship "Royal Oak"?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

Rear-Admiral Collard was ordered to strike his flag by the Commander-in-Chief, Mediterranean. This action was approved by the Admiralty after receipt of the Minutes of the Court of Inquiry on 17th March. The Admiralty will issue a statement on the case generally when they have received and reviewed the proceedings of the courts-martial.
