HC Deb 05 April 1928 vol 215 c2152W
Mr. BARKER

asked the Minister of Labour if he will bring in legislation to consolidate in one Act of Parliament the Unemployment Insurance Acts passed in the years 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1924–25, and 1927, as referred to in the Fourth Schedule of the Unemployment Insurance Act of 1927, in view of the difficulty of workmen understanding this legislation by reference?

Mr. BETTERTON

I cannot say more than that the question of consolidation of the Unemployment Insurance Acts is under consideration.
