§ Mr. BOWERMANasked the Minister of Pensions whether any decision has been reached with regard to the closing of the clinic at Cedar View, Camberwell; and, if not, will he give consideration to the inconvenience to which many partially-disabled men working or residing in the Deptford, Bermondsey, and Lewisham area would be put through having to attend for treatment at Bulinga Street, Westminster?
§ Major TRYONThe closing of the clinic at Camberwell is not in contemplation. Consideration is, as far as possible, always given to the convenience of patients when referring them to a clinic. The clinic at Bulinga Street has, however, special facilities for surgical treatment not available elsewhere, and on this account, in their own interests, certain cases living in the districts referred to, as well as in other parts of London, have, on occasion, to be summoned to it.
