HC Deb 02 April 1928 vol 215 c1597W
Mr. WHEATLEY

asked the Postmaster-General what was the number of telegrams sent through the post from 1st November, 1926, to 31st October, 1927; and the number for the previous 12 months?

Viscount WOLMER

A year's figures of late telegrams delivered by post are not available. The number of telegrams so delivered at the present time is roughly estimated to be at the rate of about 630,000 a year.
