This is now being fitted experimentally to an Imperial Airways air liner, in order that the details of its application to the special characteristics of that type of aircraft may be determined, since, as my Noble Friend is no doubt aware, each type of aircraft has to be dealt with in turn for this purpose. I am confident that manufacturers of civil aircraft will not be slow to incorporate the device in their machines once it has been proved successful on the various types.
