HC Deb 16 November 1927 vol 210 cc1063-4W
Mr. A. V. ALEXANDER

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has considered the Report of the Merchandise Marks Committee on the application for an Order for the marking of imported eggs; and, if so, what steps he proposes to take in the matter?

Sir H. BARNSTON

My right hon. Friend has referred this Report to the Poultry Advisory Committee, which includes all sections of the industry, and some little time must obviously elapse before any decision can be reached by the Departments concerned.
