HC Deb 15 November 1927 vol 210 c836W
Colonel DAY

asked the Postmaster-General whether any arrangements have been made by his Department for the erection of stamp machines on pillar boxes; and whether he will state the cost of these machines?

Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSON

Arrangements are being made, as an experimental measure, for a small number of stamp-selling machines to be affixed to pillar boxes. As regards the cost, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given to his question on the 5th April last.
