HC Deb 15 November 1927 vol 210 c856W
Mr. LOOKER

asked the Prime Minister if he is aware of the importance attached by governing bodies of institutions for mental defectives to the Mental Deficiency Bill, 1927, being passed into law at the earliest possible moment; and will he take steps to provide facilities for its being dealt with during the present Session of Parliament?

The PRIME MINISTER

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the last part, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave yesterday in reply to a question by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Basingstoke (Sir A. Holbrook).
