HC Deb 15 November 1927 vol 210 cc855-6W
Viscountess ASTOR

asked the President of the Board of Education if the Schools Committee that he has appointed have concluded their investigations into the public elementary schools; whether they have reached any conclusion with regard to alternative methods of building; and whether their Report will be made available to the public as a guide for those undertaking other classes of building?

Duchess of ATHOLL

My right hon. Friend has received from the committee a provisional statement of their views on the construction of elementary schools and on the question of the use of alternative methods. He hopes to be able to publish their views on the construction of schools of all types when their investigation of the subject is completed.
