§ Mr. W. THORNEasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that 60 ex-service temporary clerks were discharged from the Ministry of Labour, Kew, on 4th November, and 29 on 5th November, and another 74 are to be discharged on 14th November; that all these men have from seven to eight years' service; and if he will state the reasons for such discharges?
§ Mr. BETTERTONI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given on the 10th November on the same subject to the hon. Member for Leith (Mr. E. Brown). The discharges are due to a reduction of work at the Claims and Record Office at Kew.
