asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that on Friday, 4th November, the officials of the cars (with the assistance of a number of private cars) enabled a more intensive system of patrols to be organised, and no further incidents occurred except some cases of stone-throwing from the roofs of houses. The casualties were, Moslems, five killed, six injured; Hindus, seven killed, 18 injured; one Sikh killed. The curfew order and the order prohibiting the assembly in the streets of more than four persons were rescinded after remaining about 10 days in force.
