§ Colonel LANE FOXNo Sir, legislation has already been passed, in the Mining Industry Act, 1926, to secure the provision of pithead baths from the Miners' Welfare Fund, augmented by a levy on royalties. This follows the recommendation of the Royal Commission, and I do not anticipate that any further legislation on the subject will be necessary.
