§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSRemand prisoners and prisoners awaiting trial at Brixton Prison, may, on application, be shaved, if they do not shave themselves, or may have their hair cut free of charge, by another prisoner. Those who prefer to be shaved by an outside barber are charged 3d. for a shave. 6d. is charged for haircutting. When the barber attends specially before breakfast he charges 1s. for a shave and 1s. for hair-cutting.
