§ Mr. C. EDWARDSasked the Minister of Health whether the three commissioners appointed to administer the Poor Law in the Bedwellty area are to be paid a salary; if so, how much; and whether any out-of-pocket expenses are to be paid in addition to the salary?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINMajor W. B. Dixon will receive remuneration at the rate of £800 per annum and Messrs. J. A. Wilson and J. F. Thomas at the rate of £500 each per annum. These rates of remuneration are inclusive of all travelling and subsistence expenses.
