Sir G. H ENNESSYThe sum of £4,846 was expended by the Medical Research Council during the 12 months to 31st December, 1926, on research work upon specific problems of tuberculosis. This excludes the cost of research into fundamental problems of which the bearing upon tuberculosis cannot be calculated and also the cost, not separately estimated, of work in this subject by members of the council's own staff in the National Institute for Medical Research.
