HC Deb 11 March 1927 vol 203 c1524W
Mr. SHORT

asked the Minister of Labour what was the total expenditure by the Central Committee for Women's Training and Employment during 1926; and what proportion was spent in London?

Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND

The total net expenditure by the Central Committee on Women's Training and Employment for the year ended 31st December, 1926, was £81,673, towards which His Majesty's Government contributed £79,720. No separate record is kept of the amount spent in London and it could not be ascertained without considerable labour.
