HC Deb 11 March 1927 vol 203 cc1523-4W
Colonel DAY

asked the Minister of Health the number of cases of small-pox that have been diagnosed for the three months ended to the last convenient date in England and Wales; the districts in which the same has been notified; and whether the areas of infection are spreading?

Mr. NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN

As regards the first part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given to him on the 3rd instant. The other particulars desired can be obtained from the weekly return of infectious diseases published by the Registrar-General.

This includes one applicant who was refused a motor omnibus driver's licence at the time, but has since been granted one.
