Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONSo far as I am aware, the composition of the Shanghai Municipal Council is still as described in the reply given to the hon. Member for Penistone (Mr. Rennie Smith) on 16th February, that except that Mr. Sakuragi has been replaced by another Japanese, Mr. T. Funatsu. I have no information as to the reasons for Mr. Sakuragi's resignation.
