§ Mr. AMERYThe total amount and value of coffee exported from the territory during 1925 are as follows:
cwts. £ Bukoba area 83,023 320,746 North-Eastern area (Tanga and Moshi districts) 37,136 160,160 Other districts 27 139 It is not possible to state the exact proportion of native-grown coffee included in the above. In the Bukoba district the coffee is almost entirely native-grown. In the North-Eastern area, on the other hand, native-grown coffee amounted to between 6 per cent. or 7 per cent. of the total production of the area in the year 1924–25. I have no more recent figures for this area.
