FORESTIER-WALKERThe statement is based on various experiments and investigations into growing woods; these data have not yet been collated for publication, but it is hoped to issue a bulletin on the afforestation of difficult sites. The areas of molinia peat land in England and Scotland have not been surveyed, but they include many thousands of acres on both sides of the border.
