HC Deb 02 June 1927 vol 207 c558W
Mr. TAYLOR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether any representations have been made to him as to the overcrowding and generally unsatisfactory conditions under which the staff of the Grimsby No. 2 district tax office are expected to carry out their duties; and what steps, if any, he is taking in this matter?

Captain HACKING (for The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS)

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative; arrangements are being made to allocate to Grimsby No. 2 District part of the accommodation in the building that has recently been rendered available by the transfer of No. 1 District to other premises.
