HC Deb 02 June 1927 vol 207 c567W
Sir R. THOMAS

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the hardships suffered by commercial travellers and others who have to make long waits at railway junctions at times of day when facilities for warmth and refreshment are not available, such as the early hours of Sunday morning; and whether he will initiate consultation between the railway companies and the commercial travellers' associations with a view to remedying this state of affairs?

Colonel ASHLEY

My attention has not previously been called to this matter, but if the hon. Member will furnish me with full particulars of any case in which he thinks that reasonable representations have not been met, I will consider whether there is any action that I can usefully take.
