§ Lord E. PERCYThe Board's Annual Reports have hitherto related to the School Year ending July. I propose, however, to make the Report relate in future to the period ended 31st December, and the next Report will, therefore, cover the period 1st August, 1926, to 31st December, 1927. It will be published as early as possible in 1928. The Volume of Statistics has hitherto been issued as soon after the year to which it related as the collection and compilation of the returns from Local Authorities rendered possible. The Volume for 1925–26 is expected to be ready for issue next October, but I hope that by the extended use of mechanical devices it will be possible to publish the Volume for 1926–27 in conjunction with the Annual Report for 1926–27 next year.
