Separate totals of numbers rejected on account of some physical or medical disability cannot be given, but the total number of candidates for entry 1777W in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines rejected on these accounts was 5,427. This number does not include men and boys rejected by recruiters, i.e., those not sent forward for final medical examination, of which there is no record.
