§ Sir S. HOAREI regret that no complete record of the number of pilots trained during the period referred to is available. The only figure available is that of military pilots trained by the Royal Flying Corps during the five and a half months between 1st November, 1917, and 15th April, 1918, namely, 3,782 pilots.
