HC Deb 16 February 1927 vol 202 c942W
Sir H. HOPE

asked the Minister of Transport whether it is contemplated to nominate any representative of the agricultural industry as adviser to the Electricity Board, so that the benefits of the Electricity Supply Act of 1926 may be secured for that industry?

Colonel ASHLEY

The manner in which the Electricity Board can best keep itself informed of the special requirements of agriculture in connection with the supply of electricity is a, matter which it will be for the Board itself to determine as occasion may arise.
