HC Deb 21 December 1927 vol 212 c426W
Mr. HAYES

asked the hon. Member for Monmouth, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, whether he is aware that some of the footpaths in the Delamere Forest have been, and others are about to be, forbidden to the public; and whether he will take steps to restore the rights-of-way, which are of age long establishment?

Sir L. FORESTIER-WALKER

For the protection of young plantations in Delamere Forest, it is necessary, for the time being, to close some of the footpaths which the public have been permitted to use, but no public rights of way have been or will be closed.
