asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether in view of the value and political importance of the Dead Sea salts, he will assure the House that no concession to deal with them shall be granted to any applicants except on the lines of a chartered company for working such concession in furtherance of Empire interests under adequate British control?
