§ Mr. G. HALLasked the Secretary for Mines if he is aware that the Cwmaman collieries, some of the Powell-Duffryn collieries, and the Nixon Navigation colliery, all situated in the Aberdare Valley, are still closed down; and, in view of the hardship caused to the popuation, can he now state whether it is the intention of the colliery companies concerned to reopen these collieries in the near future?
§ Sir B. CHADWICKI can only refer the hon. Member to the answer given him on 22nd November by the Secretary for Mines. I have no further information.
