§ Colonel DAYasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the number of employés employed in all Government Departments to the last convenient date, giving the total staff, male and female, and showing what portion of the male staff are ex-service men; and the number of ex-service men on the permanent or temporary staff of those Departments?
Mr. SAMUELI would refer the hon. Member to the statement, which has already been presented to Parliament, relating to the employment of ex-service men in Government Departments on 1st October, 1927 (Command Paper 2983).
