§ Mr. HAYESasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether in view of the general demand for an inquiry into 41W the banking conditions in India and of the resolution calling for such an inquiry adopted by the Indian Legislature, the Government will give an undertaking that a Committee or Commission will be appointed to inquire into this matter and make recommendations as soon as the question of the constitution of the Reserve Bank has been decided?
