asked the Attorney-General whether His Majesty's Government have considered the Report, dated 18th February, 1927, of the Crown Proceedings Committee; whether they intend to present to Parliament a Bill as suggested by that Committee; and, if so, when its introduction may be anticipated?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Government do not propose to present to Parliament the draft Bill contained in the Report of the Crown Proceedings Committee; but they hope in the course of next Session to deal by legislation with certain aspects of the question
