§ Colonel LANE FOXAs I informed the hon. Member in answer to a question on1188W 28th June, I have not any definite figure of the number of men over 60 years of age now employed in coal mining, but it is estimated that the total number, including both employed and unemployed, is about 78,000, of whom about 13,000 belong to such classes as craftsmen, clerks, etc.
