JOYNSON-HICKSEvery alien coming to the United Kingdom has to obtain leave to land, and leave is given or refused under the provisions of Article 1 of the Aliens Order, 1920.Inter alia, Article 1 (3) (b) of that Order provides that if an alien desires to enter the service of an employer in the United Kingdom lie must produce a permit issued by the Minister of Labour. Questions as to the permits issued should be addressed to that Minister.
