asked the Minister of Labour the number of men and women registered as unemployed from the artificial silk trade?

Mr. BETTERTON

At 21st March, 1927, 1,490 insured men and 2,292 insured women in the silk and artificial silk trades in Great Britain were recorded as unemployed. I am unable to give separate figures for the artificial silk trade.
