§ Sir A. CHAMBERLAINThe answer to both parts of the question is in the negative. If the hon. Member will refer to the answer given on the 15th ultimo by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War to the hon. and gallant Member for Wycombe (Sir A. Knox), he will see that, according to the information in the possession of His Majesty's Government, much greater preparations for gas warfare were being made in Russia than anywhere else in the world.
