§ Colonel DAYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any joint action has been taken between the British and French Governments on the subject of Italy and Yugoslavia relations: whether joint representations have been made to Rome and Belgrade; and with what success?
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONThe British, French and German Governments have been in consultation on this subject. There have been no joint representations to the Italian and Jugo-Slav Governments, but the hope has been expressed that the two Governments will as soon as possible try to clear up recent misunderstandings by means of frank and friendly conservations.
