HC Deb 12 April 1927 vol 205 c213W
Colonel DAY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any joint action has been taken between the British and French Governments on the subject of Italy and Yugoslavia relations: whether joint representations have been made to Rome and Belgrade; and with what success?

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

The British, French and German Governments have been in consultation on this subject. There have been no joint representations to the Italian and Jugo-Slav Governments, but the hope has been expressed that the two Governments will as soon as possible try to clear up recent misunderstandings by means of frank and friendly conservations.
