§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDAt 21st March, 1927, there were 1,020,118 insured persons on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Great Britain. There were in addition 58,412 uninsured persons on the registers. There are no statistics regarding the number of employable persons not attending at the Exchanges.
