§ Mr. BRIDGEMANThe expenditure on the Singapore naval base, towards which the Hong Kong contribution has been allocated, is for dredging and shore works in connection with the floating dock, and for borings, anti-malarial measures, temporary water supply and housing, road and railway to the site and other preliminary works in connection with the naval base.
