Mr. ROBINSONasked the Minister of Pensions if he will consider the desirability of issuing life pensions to all men who have been in receipt of disability pensions, conditional, for seven years or more at their current rate of assessment?
Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYA final award, whether of life pension or other form of compensation, is made wherever the case is determined medically to be suitable for it. To make such awards on the lines suggested by the hon. Member without further medical consideration of the individual cases would not be in the best interests of many of the pensioners.
