asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will give a list of conventions and protocols drafted under the auspices of the League of Nations and open for signature by any State member of the League; and which of these have been ratified by Great Britain?

The list is as follows:

  1. (1) Protocols amending Articles 4, 6, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 26 of the Covenant of the League.
  2. (2) Amendment of Article 393 of the Treaty of Versailles and the corresponding Articles of the other Treaties of Peace: Protocol thereto.
  3. (3) Protocol on Arbitration Clauses in Commercial Matters.
  4. (4) Protocol amending Article 16 of the League of Nations of 27th September, 1924.
  5. (5) Protocol amending Article 16 of the League of Nations of 21st September, 1925.
  6. (6) Protocol for the Pacific Settlement of International Disputes.
  7. (7) Protocol of Signature of Statute of Permanent Court of International Justice.
  8. (8) Optional Clause recognising Court's Jurisdiction as described in Article 36 of the Statute.
  9. (9) Agreement Protocol and Final Act of the First Opium Conference of the League of Nations.
  10. (10) Convention regarding Measurement of Vessels employed in Inland Navigation.

Numbers (1), (2), (3), (7) and (9) have been ratified by His Majesty the King in respect of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
