asked the Minister of labour the number of workpeople registered as unemployed from the cotton trade in February, 1925, 1926, and 1927?

Mr. BETTERTON

The numbers of workpeople in the cotton industry re- corded as unemployed at Employment Exchanges in Great Britain were 38,337 at 23rd February, 1925; 53,695 at 22nd February, 1926; and 47,718 at 21st February, 1927.
