§ Colonel ASHLEYThe total amount of grants made and indicated to local authorities in England and Wales out of the £1,300,000 set aside for maintenance grants to unclassified roads is already £824,385. In accordance with the scheme of grant announced, the grants represent 20 per cent. of the approved expenditure on these scheduled unclassified roads. I
